Pro and Team plans let you use your own official WhatsApp API number with no message limits (standard WhatsApp API charges apply), plus advanced automations like abandoned checkout recovery, shipping updates, AI order taking, review requests, newsletters, and custom templates.

What does "WhatsApp API charges apply" mean on Pro and Team?

On the Pro and Team plans, you connect your own official WhatsApp Business API number. Meta charges a per-conversation fee at their published rates. Whapi does not add any markup on top of Meta's fees. You pay Meta directly and Whapi only charges the flat subscription.

Is there a free trial?

The Starter plan is always free. The Basic, Pro, and Team plans each come with a 3-day free trial so you can test all features before committing.

Can I switch plans at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from the Whapi dashboard inside Shopify. When you upgrade, the new features become available immediately. When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

What happens if I exceed my COD message limit on Starter or Basic?

Accepted Answer

On the Starter plan you get 30 COD confirmation messages per month, and on Basic you get 150. If you reach your limit, automated COD messages pause until the next billing cycle. You can upgrade to Basic or Pro at any time for more capacity.

Do Pro and Team plans have message limits?

Accepted Answer

No. Pro and Team plans use the official WhatsApp Business API with no message limits from Whapi. Standard Meta WhatsApp API conversation charges apply, which you pay directly to Meta at their published rates with zero markup from Whapi.

What is the shared inbox on the Team plan?

Accepted Answer

The Team plan includes a shared inbox where unlimited agents can manage customer conversations. Conversations are auto-assigned and workload is distributed across your team automatically, so no messages get missed.

Is there a long-term contract?

Accepted Answer

No. All Whapi plans are billed every 30 days with no long-term commitment. The Pro plan also offers a yearly option at $149/year (saving 35%). You can cancel at any time from your Shopify admin.
